A rare collection of casks were found in Glenglassaugh’s coastal warehouses after nearly twenty years of the distillery’s closure. These were picked out by master blender Rachel Barrie to offer mature expressions that show the interplay between the natural environment and quality casks. This 48-year-old whisky was aged in an Aleatico red wine barrique – a Chilean wine from Elba – and comes alongside a 5cl taster bottle.
