Rooster Rojo Mezcal is handcrafted by Lopes Sosa Palenque, a small craft distillery in San Juan del Rio of Oaxaca in Mexico. Each bottle is signed by the Maestro Mescalero (the Master Mezcal maker) Rodolfo Lopez Juan which conforms thaht he has been following the correct production process and signifies his approval. That this liquid Mezcal is perfect for Mezcal Aficianods around the world. The bottle is dark, similar to traditional clay bottles. The purpose of this is to prevent the liquid being affectted by direct sunlight and to ensure it is not visible to the “bad eye” before consumption.
